Before and after school care is available to children who attend Sandown North Elementary School and Sandown Central School.  The school buses stop at 56 North Road, directly in front of Playmates Learning Center.  We are open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday.  We are also available during professional development days, school vacation days and in the event that school opening is delayed or dismissed early. We are closed on major holidays.

If your child becomes ill while in school, a Playmates staff person can go to the school to bring your child to Playmates where they will be kept in a room separate from the other children while they wait for you to pick them up.

The children are fed a snack as soon as they arrive from school.  Weather permitting, they go outside to play.  In the winter, it is important that the children have appropriate clothes to stay warm and dry while outside. 

Some children work on their homework while they are at Playmates.  Other children have a choice of activities to do while they are here.
